Clean the wound.Place the middle of the butterfly closure across the wound,not lengthwise.Stick one half of the butterfly closure on one side of the wound,then press it down firmly. Gently pinch the wound edges together,then stick the other half of the butterfly closure on the other side of the wound.To help hold the butterfly closures in place, you can add a bandage over the ends of the butterfly closures on each side of the wound.
